SAFETY IN THE GYM


Here at Jumpers we strive to teach your children gymnastics in a fun and safe environment. There are some things that you can help us with too. We’ll talk to the children daily about staying safe, but we would also like for you to talk to them if you see things they are doing that look unsafe. Children are our worlds greatest asset. We all should work to keep them safe. Listed below are some particular things we want the children to think about. Please go over these with your children.
  • Proper Attire
*Girls should wear a leotard or T-shirt tucked into shorts or sweatpants. Boys should wear a T-shirt tucked into shorts or sweatpants. No jeans, belts, snaps, or zippers.
*Long hair must be securely pulled back.
*No jewelry (except pierced studs).
*Bare feet only. No socks or tights allowed.
  • Infection Control Policy
We care about the health of your child and our staff. We ask that students with any illness or symptoms that may prove to be contagious (runny nose, fever, cough, diarrhea, etc.) call in sick for their class and schedule a make-up when feeling better.
  • Class Safety
*Only instructors, students, and participating parents are allowed in instruction areas. Please keep all siblings off of equipment.
*An instructor must be present to be on the equipment.
*No food, gum, or drink allowed behind fenced areas.
*Absolutely no horseplay or running around equipment.
*Students should tell their instructor if they need to use the restroom, get a drink, or if they are feeling ill.

*Instructors are safety certified!!!


WEATHER POLICY

Jumpers will follow the Woodland Park School District RE-2 snow schedule. If RE-2 CANCELS school for the day, we will NOT have morning classes. We will decide by 2 pm if there will be evening classes and leave a message at the gym. Feel free to check our website or facebook page as we will always post our closures on those sites. If there is a delay, we WILL hold classes as normal for both morning and evening. In the event we do cancel classes due to weather, a make up class will be provided.

MISSED LESSONS & MAKE UPS

Please advise the front desk of any days that you will be unable to attend a class. If your child is ill, please call BEFORE class to inform us. Tuition will not be credited for any absence. You may schedule a make up in “space available” classes. There are times when no spaces are available or you are just unable to get here to make up. Let us know and we will happily give you a free open gym in its place. Please try to make up your lesson within two weeks of missing that class. You must currently be enrolled in a class to schedule make ups. We will prorate tuition for a two week vacation one time per family per calendar year with advance notification.

Open Gyms: Saturdays 11-12 pm. $5/member $7/non-member 

Date Nights: Drop the kids off while you go out & we will keep them occupied w/ fun & games. $30/ member $35/non-member

Summer Camps: Gymnastics, tumbling, and movement half day camps available in June & July.

Private Lessons: One-on-one time. $35/ 30 min. $50/ 1 hour

Birthday Parties: Offered on Saturdays & Sundays. $120/member $145/non-member

Clinics: Specialized classes to focus on one skill or area.
